Good times for rookies

Motul
14 September

The World MotoGP Championship interseason tests are crucial for the teams. They are also highly eventful in the pits and on the track. There are indeed many new elements as regards the motorcycles and the riders have changed in a fair number of teams. From 15 to 17 January, the trials held on Phillip Island circuit, Australia, gave their batch of lessons, questions and hopes as regards the 22 riders, 12 teams and 6 manufacturers who will be present at the start of the season.

With Monster Yamaha Tech3, Aprilia Racing Team Gresini and the Suzuki factory team, Motul can be proud of counting on loyal and competitive technical partners. These three structures all shone at one moment or another in the State of Victoria, which will be hosting the 16th round of the world championship. It's a rookie who caused the greatest

sensation, namely Tech3 rider Jonas Folger. 'The pace was good, we tried many solutions and solved many problems. We can be pleased!' stated the German.

Rookies are flying high. Alex Rins confirmed this by clinching 6th time on his Suzuki. 'Apart from the time, the most important thing is to have made regular and significant progress,' stated the Spaniard.

The Top 10 bagged by Aleix Espargaro was also rightly considered as positive at Aprilia. See you on 10 March in Qatar for more news!
