Herve Poncharal is an icon in the world of MotoGP™. He started out as a professional rider about 40 years ago, and over the course of his career he has grown to become Monster Yamaha’s Tech 3 team manager.
Herve Poncharal is a well-known face and name for most in- and outside the MotoGP™ paddock. He’s a respected figure who runs not only Tech 3, but is also the President of the International Road-Racing Teams Association (IRTA).
Poncharal was a professional rider himself in his early years, and got his Grand Prix schooling in team management with Honda France in the 1980s before taking the brave decision to form his own team – Tech 3 – in 1989.
He has recently announced the end of his 20-year collaboration with Yamaha. We’re all wondering what’s next…
