Hyper Rally Enduro

The history of BMW HP2 Enduro begins in August 2004, production of the bike star and produced until 2006. The HP stands for High Performance, and number 2 in the title refers to the number of cylinders in the engine – in this case, it is a 2 cylinder boxer arrangement.

 

Model BMW HP2 Enduro built in the image and likeness of rally racing motorcycles, differing specific appearance and a simplified configuration.

 

 

Based on the BMW HP2 Enduro was taken the engine from BMW K25 R1200GS generation, outstanding 105 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque.

BMW HP2 Enduro frame is a steel tubular design, similar to the one that was used on rally BMW motorcycle R900RR (1999-2001), in which the engine is not bearing elements.

 

 

Suspension also differ from civilians in GS-version. Instead of the traditional BMW Telelever, BMW HP2 Enduro gets an inverted fork type with a diameter of 45 mm pens and a full range of adjustments. As the rear suspension uses a Paralever classic, combining the pendulum and shaft drive, with fully adjustable air-spring shock (Air Damping System).

 

 

Brake system BMW HP2 Enduro is also different from the civilian version of the BMW motorcycles. First, front 1 brake disc instead of two. Secondly, the ABS system is not available even as an option.

 

 

Of optional equipment, model BMW HP2 Enduro could be supplied only handles heated 17’ supermoto-wheels.

 


For the entire period of production was around 2910 PCs BMW HP2 Enduro. In 2006, the motorcycle is retired, giving place to the version of the BMW HP2 Megamoto produced in 2008.
