This weekend, the World Superbike circus is setting up camp at the legendary TT Circuit in Assen for the Dutch round of the WSBK. The highlight of the event will be watching Yamaha rider Michael van der Mark celebrate his home event and aiming for a good result. On top of that, two other big moments will be the introduction of a WSBK Motul Superfan and a full live broadcast of the paddock show.
Dutchman Michael van der Mark will be looking to make amends after a tough weekend in Spain and we’re betting he’ll be looking for that extra boost from the Dutch fans to give him the edge. Van der Mark scored a podium place at last year’s event and will be hoping to repeat that achievement this time around.
After its great success in MotoGP and Le Mans, we’ll be introducing the Motul Superfan concept to a WSBK event for the second time this year. One lucky winner will get a front-row seat for the entire event, act as an ambassador for the brand and report on his or her activities through social media.
And to get you as close as possible to the action, we have one more trick up our sleeve as we’ll be broadcasting the entire WSBK paddock show on our Motul social media pages. You will get to follow the entire event from your living room, with commentary and interviews with the riders – throughout the whole weekend.
The WorldSBK riders will be answering your questions LIVE from the paddock this Saturday in the very first EXCLUSIVE live WorldSBK Paddock show, going live around 8PM CET.
